achieve, Search for a win to win scenario, Treat others fairly and finally Get a
decision.
Learning to communicate well and to influence other people are
essential skills in business. But even more fundamental to your success is
learning to negotiate effectively with yourself. Believe me, better results,
stronger relationships, and more of life’s deeper rewards, all come from
learning to negotiate with yourself.
At first this sounds strange. Can you talk to yourself without being
crazy? Can you disagree with yourself? If you have an argument with
yourself, who wins.
It is not difficult to find examples of negotiating yourself from our
routines. In the evening you often negotiate to have an early morning walk
so that you can go for an ice cream during dinner. Or I know , my in-laws
will support me if ask some financial assistance , but I feel awkward going
back to them but to source the funds from my saving scheme. This sort of
inner tug-of-war often happens with every individual and the reason is every
